Cranking for shad.

I've trolled a lot of cranks before and have seen a lot of balls of shad on my graph, then see what I thought was my line hitting them as they passed through the bait ball. But I've never snagged one before last weekend when I actually snagged 4 of them. Not sure if they are gizzard or threadfin shad. Somebody will know though.
