Ramsey's Slough

Went to Ramsey's Slough Monday and Tuesday afternoon. Caught a few, all were small but it still gets me warmed up for the serious fishing to come.

The crappie out on Conway have been running a little on the smaller side the past few trips. I wonder if the bigger fish are starting to migrate...

But your right...prime time is right around the corner.

The crappie in Ramsey Slough have always been stunted. AGFC poisoned the slough years ago, and the fish still came back very small. Good bass and bream.

Yeah, I've never heard of any one catching anything but dinks out of Ramsey Slough in the crappie line. It sure looks good though. I wish the G & F could figure something out.

I caught some nice ones back in January, but you are right most of the time you just catch dinks.
