Fellas, I decided to hit Conway today. Finally got all my stuff out and headed to Gold Creek. When I got to the ramp, they told me they were about out of rosies'. I got a good many of what they had and ventured the short trip back up the creek. I got to a submerged tree I like to fish and then it dawned on me............MAN IS IT WINDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.......I had to put both anchors out on the same line to hold me......I fished that place, underneath the old metal bridge and some other spots only to come out with 4 fish. Two crappie and two yellow bass........Man was it rough. Besides not being able to control the boat worth a darn, the loading the boat was even a harder project. There were two other boats there while I was. I hope they did better than I did.

Adam and I went Saturday. I imidiately caught two and it made me think we might do some good even though we couldn't hear each other because of the wind's howl. We tried to get under the bridge to get out of the wind. But, we learned the sun kept us warm and the wind was coming from the cove then the creek. Could not hold the boat anywhere. I went back to the ramp and borrowed a block from Dan. With it, we were able to keep one end of the boat positioned. But, the other end just circled around. We did catch 4 more after that. I have never seen crappie come up with their tounges sticking out like that. They had to chase that bait in that circle the boat was making and were panting when they come up. Some of them had their eyes crossed too. I think they were dizzie from running in that circle.
