    Default How windy was it?

Man it was so windy here the toilet had white caps. Wind was blowing 30 + mph at times today. Didn't even try to get out. But tomorrow is another day and supposed to be nice with only 5-10 mph winds. Got the timing adjusted on the evilrude and need to take it for a run. Mechanic said it needs to be run wide open for a little while to blow out the cobwebs.

The weather conditions like yesterday are the best times to be out there for crappie fishing. It's spring, and the wind is one of those things that you're going to have to face to get on the best fishing. Fishing on a day like today isn't worth it though. Post-frontal conditions with cool nighttime lows, such as tomorrow, may put the crappie in a less active mood and a little bit deeper.

Have fun on the water tomorrow. I hope the ol' Evilrude runs like a champ for you.

The paper guy tossed the paper out in the driveway at work and the wind blew it back across the street.

A little wind wouldn't be bad, but 40 mph is just too much for me. Supposed to be around 10-20 tomorrow, think I'll give it a try even if it's just to float my boat and look for a couple of places to sink some boo.
