    That's a throw back but a good pic of a black nose! I've never caught one that had a strip run that far towards tail. Great pic

    Unfortunately it swallowed the hook and I tried very carefully to remove it as gently as I could but as you can see in the pic it has blood on it's side and I was afraid if I threw it back it wouldn't live long. Also I was lucky enough it just made the ten inch length limit

    That's good to know. I had noticed those markings on crappie caught from my uncle's pond. They all are like that.
