Lake Hogue

Anyone heard a crappie report from there. I would like to fish it one time from all I've heard about it....

The fish are running small. I'm friends with the fisheries biologist in this area and helped him run nets over there a couple of weeks ago to get an idea of numbers and sizes. Numbers were pretty good but sizes are small. Basically, their spawns have been good but the fishing pressure has left the lake void of the older fish.
I don't know how they will resolve the issue but it's been said that lowering the possession limit on crappie may help turn the lake around.
