Several of ya'll have gotten me started from late October thru mid-May crappie fishing on Conway, and while not a great fisherman, have been catching enough for me (5-12 a trip is all I look for - don't like to clean more than that).
Now that the water has gotten into the 82-86 range, and will be getting higher soon, I haven't a clue what my summer strategy should be (perhaps it should be to play golf until late October).
Any advice would be most appreciated. Basically like to single pole jig, but somewhat open to other methods (I enjoy the thump of a few more than the pull of a bunch from trolling and have zero interest in spider rigging).
