With all the rods i have i would go broke making them rod holders. Maybe i need to hit the pile of scrap metalI do like them, very nice and neat, got the mig warming up

Here is another inexpensive way to store long rods and easy to access when door is down or up.
Just U-bolts and J-bolts. I dipped the J-bolts in the liquid plastic like you use to insulate pliers' handles but may be unnecessary.

I think the plastic dip on the J hooks will help from fraying the line opposed to the raw metal.
I have an overhead rack, but I like the door rack. It looks easier to get the rods in and out of compared to my overhead model, and it separates the rods better.
