    Default maybe it is progress

I know my recent experience pales when you consider Skip's son or any other serviceman/woman that is injured. But, Adam is about ready to be turned loose again. I am a little disappointed and afraid for him; he has decided to return to the demon girlfreind. However this time he wants to witness to her and bring her to Christ. I don't think he understands that first he has to wrestle her from Satan. His mind is not as fried as I was originally fearing. He is very appreciative of what has been done for him. But, is too hard headed and wants to do it on his own now. I don't know where he gets that from.

    Hey Jerry
He saw the Wild Man on TV and was bragging to his Granny that he was going to be fishing with that guy in April. Tell Steve we will be looking forward to seeing him again. He was also laughing about how nervous Darryl got when he was eating instead of fishing at the fall camp.

Hey DP....Hope for the very best for your son....Maybe he can witness and turn her around, but you know what they say it's hard to change people, Hopefully his girlfriend will be willing to try...I'll keep him in my prayers....

With stories such as yours and Skips it sure scares the heck out of me raising a 7 year old. I wish he could stay little forever.

Hang tough Dr Pepper and stay in as constant contact as you can with your son and the first sign of a relapse get him out of that hell hole.

    Hey Don:

Thanks for the update. I've been wondering how Adam's rehab has been going. Hope this weather straightens out so you can get him back on the water soon. Tell him I'm looking forward to fishing with him in April or sooner if things straighten out and y'all can get over this way.

Hope everything works out Don. Maybe you can bring your son to Nimrod Lake this spring. Slabbandit called last night and is fired up to fish . But is willing to build some brush first. Right now the lake is 18+ft high. Keep the son busy as idle time can bring troubles. Fishing may be the therapy he needs in addition to what he is getting.:D

The signs have been there for years. I just didn't know what they were.

I tried to start a new thread describing what all is going on legally now. I don't know where it went. I was PO'd and it felt good to get it off my chest.

Adam has been worried about a warrant for his arrest. We tried to help out yesterday and he basically showed up at court and turned himself in. The Dumb a'' judge called him a flight risk and locked him up. Flight risk?? He turned himself in. I was threatned with comtempt for sounding off. I know he ain't done right. But, he knew and the other criminals know what a bunch of jerks run the courts and parole office and they know how to abuse it and get away with it. These people would starve to death if they had to make a living in the real world. They ain't got a clue how to follow procedures.

Easy now DP. I totally agree with you 100%, however, they have you and adam bent over a barrell. Don't make things any worse by flying off the handle in court. Those guys are known for their power trips and they have the final word for the most part. They look at every criminal as just that, criminals. They never stop and realize that some of those "criminals" have loved ones that are on edge enough as it is. I think just because they have made a bad decision once or twice, doesn't mean they are junk. Hang in there. I think about you guys everday.

Know why they bury lawyers 10 feet deep instead of 6? (Cuz deep down, they are good guys. :D )
