Here are the lakes in the kit. Most of these I have never seen discussed here. Wandered if anyone wants to share anything on these. Any really bad ones? Any real good ones? Sugarloaf Lake
    Tri-County Lake
    Lake Poinsett

    Lake Wallace
    White Oak Lake
    First Old River Lake
    Lake Enterprise
    Lake Elmdale
    Lake Des Arc

Tri county has a few fish in it, but hardly spend any time there at all. (Don't know why, I just don't). I have bream fished Lake Grampus and it is FULL of big ol cypress trees. Haven't been there in years, but used to go during Memorial Day weekend and catch literally 100's of bream. Lake Wallace is a very good crappie lake as well but haven't fished it recently. (only during college days). White Oak is a great bass lake and several people catch alot of crappie. (Never fished it though). Lake Columbia is one of my favorites. Huge bass and great crappie as well. Lake Chicot is one of the best in South Ar. Very big lake with lots of opp. And finally Cane Creek lake. The next state record crappie will come from Cane Creek. My all around favorite lake.

Like you said it's a lot of promotional material, they write up every lake as if 2lb+ crappie are jumping in the boat. 25 years ago, they probably were on some of these lakes... I fish Cox Creek Lake every once in a while, if I can only get away from the house for couple of hours. It was a great lake many years ago, like a lot of these on the list, but time has taken it's toll and the cover isn't there like it used to be. I usually fish AR river, Ouachita, Degray, Nimrod. COE lakes seem to produce better for me. Probably need to get back to Greeson whenever some of the water drains out.. looks to be a little "up" after looking at Jerry's pictures.:D

I still haven't gotten my Kit yet. Don't know if the passenger pigeons have gotten lost or what. Maybe too much weight to carry. :D

Yeah, Greeson and the other COE lakes aren't included in the packet. It was really nice of them to include the Greeson packet for you.

Of the lakes that I've fished...

Lake Charles has a 10" length limit. A couple of years ago, it was almost impossible to get 10" fish, but as time has passed the vast majority of those should be legal now.

Shirey Bay is a nice, remote oxbow of off the Black River. It has nice scenary, but not dynamite fishing...

Lake Hogue is fairly nice. One plus is that it has tilapia stocked. It's a good opportunity to catch a fish that you've never caught before. And, the record is broken just about every year, so you could potentially catch you an AR record fish...

I have experience on four of those mentioned.
I have fished Overcup once. Tore some Bream up in the middle of July a few years ago. I hear the crappie fishing is even better. But, I haven't made it back for any of that.
I used to frequent Henry Gray / Hurricane lake WMA often. I have done fairly well with crappie. But, much better with bream and red ears. I will never go when it is flooded again. It was fun riding around in the woods in my boat. When I got ready to leave though, I had to ask another fishermen how he got there.
I can't say enough about my experiences at Conway. I bet she is filling up fast with all of this rain. I don't know if it will be soon enough for my usual spring trips though.
And Cane Creek. I haven't tore them up on the couple of trips I have made; But, I know they got to be there.
