I had a friend to tell me this morning that there is a alligator hanging out close to his boat dock, has anyone else seen any alligators in Conway lately

there is at least one gator in the lake, i have seen pics and video of a gator on conway!

And why is he still breathing???

Because they are protected , stocked here by AGFC? Why kill something that most folks take pleasure in seeing ?

Lots of gators on Conway. They have been sighted all over the lake, especially in the last year. There may be evidence that they are reproducing. They aren't hurting anybody. I say leave em be.

More gators, maybe fewer commorants. DP

Does your friend have a pic of the gator? There are a few who still don't believe it.

They are in Grassy Lake area and Arkansas River . We see them on Kingfisher Lake and there was one caught in a hoop net years back on Petit Jean River . During this high water no telling where they will pop up. I know a guy a few years ago at Nady ( around dam #2) had one sun basking in his drive way after one of these floods !
