    They are in Grassy Lake area and Arkansas River . We see them on Kingfisher Lake and there was one caught in a hoop net years back on Petit Jean River . During this high water no telling where they will pop up. I know a guy a few years ago at Nady ( around dam #2) had one sun basking in his drive way after one of these floods !

    I ran up on one on lake Conway bout two months ago. was up fishing in the log jams about 100 yards south of Adams lake. it was laying on the logs sunning. there was a log blocking me from going down the bank and I was trolling around it or I would have run up on top of it. he finally hit the water and it sounded like an explosion. scared me to death. had not previously known there were gators in the lake. been keeping my feet in the boat
