Thread: A little Crappie Therapy.

Leave it to Jackie to re-invent crappie fishing. I've always said Jackie can catch fish, any kind of fish he wants to, some people just have that innate ability. He studies them probably as well as anyone I know and gets creative in his approach when necessary. He consistently catches fish on Greers Ferry and, in my opinion, it's one of the toughest lakes to crappie fish. Good job Jackie. I sure hope those were wild quail, I haven't seen a covey of wild quail in so long it's real depressing. I grew up quail hunting, and my dad, in addition to being a businessman, was a professional dog trainer.

Not hardly wild quail!! This hunt was on my Fathers old home place.We found 13 wild coveys back in 1976 on a hunt in this same field wild birds,My Grandfather,my father and I, Thanks too good christian's leaders like you,your Dad and other's.I have a fish'n addiction in stead of other addiction's. Thanks Bobby enjoyed the fish'n trips . You(Mac Daddy)got me started wanting to learn crappie fish'n on lake fork Texas(still the best and biggest crappie fish.n ).Bobby was bringing in limits of 2 lb crappie feeding the fish,n camp with all the crappie we could eat!!

My Sister is a Professional physician,My Brother a Professional Computer Wiz. All was left was Fish'n,LOL

will be some good eats, fish fry one night, then quail mashed taters biscuits and gravy the next. Good deed to share that with a friend.

One day might be able to set on the porch and catch crappie like Mac Daddy, Meatgetter,BRM,Nimrod,CrappiePro,Creekslick!! To even catch a crappie for me in Jan,Feb is an accomplishment.Working on the 2 lb'rs.Thanks Mac Daddy,Meatgetter,Nimrod,BRM.Us Bass wanttobe crappie fishermen have to add a little to our jig's(salt,Coffee). My grandfather always spit on his minnow before fishing. Was not any store bought tobacco either.

Not quite made it to Ninja Nimrod stage.Would love to be able to fish Nimrod lake every day!! I have to fish for some of nimrod's big Bass. Working on it!!!A 100 limits in one year of fishing #WOW" only in my Dream's. The Southern Pros are good especially the glow colors!! Made where in Brookland Ark!!! Home of the Crappie tube.
