    Default Rough START!

I fished two lakes this weekend Old Town and another oxbow and ZEROED . Not the way I usually start the new year but it happens and I am looking forward to making some more trips down in that area come March! Just wondering if anyone else had a hard time catching them this weekend?

It happen that way some time. Not all of us are Crappie Pro's every day out. Good luck next time out. My dad always said you was not holding your mouth right if you was not catching fish.

I'm surprised you didn't catch some at Old Town! I'm going down there next Sunday. I can tell you that you better be fishing SSSLLLOOOWWW right now. What I caught this weekend was a very light bite on really light jigs

I was surprised we didn't catch at old town but wind was bad and made it hard to fish as slow as I would have liked

The bite seems to be better after 3 pm til dark!! Not a feeding bite but a reaction bite.A bait with a blade 1-2 in(size of shad) and kill the blade near the brush will get you a bite!! Slow down and slow down some more.Name: 02-25-14_1718[1].jpg
