LA, they were just inside the treeline. I caught ever single one of them within a 20' area....right smack dab in the middle of the "Willie Hole". They turned on for about 30 min and turned right back off. Several folks there. One fellow, didn't catch his name but he was fishing out of a F&F using a jig under a bobber. (Doesn't believe in using shiners or a dip net either.) :rolleyes: He was showing off one that was 3 lbs for sure. Looked like the size of a cast iron skillet when he held it up. I agree, the state record crappie will soon be caught from Cane Creek. I am having a hard time believing that all the crappie in that lake is within a 2 acre patch though.
