easy to strip off a few turns of line so that it doesn't pull the line all the way in. simple to do and the crappies won't be airborne. Never thought about the pinch on sinker. Should work too.

Don't break any game laws. If you can't use yo-Yos without killing small fish, my recommendation is to not use that gear. This may mean paying more attention to the yo-Yos than was done in the past or not setting them over such a large area. I am definitely not going to recommend that you break one law over the other. Let me repeat. I am not recommending that anyone break any game laws.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
