    Default Lake conway question?

Just wondering how the new regs for lake conway is going to affect all the Yo-Yo ers on the lake. It makes since to me that there are going to be a lot of them either keeping small fish or throwing back dead ones. Just curious what everyone thinks??

I hope this thread done not get out of line because I like to know the answer also. Now to put what I seen in to practice. I think there well a lot turn back for the ones that stay with the yo-yos. But i speck to see a lot of floater as I never see yo-yo run right there. I hoping to see the AG&F on the lake this first year to help enforce it. I know they work hard to enforce when it come to other new game laws that are add in so I sure they work hard to keep these. The main thing is be legal and we be ok if checked. Breaking the LAW start with us.

Never thought of that. Yo-yos left over night are going to pull the small ones out of the water, so when you run them in the AM, you are either going to have short fish or wanton waste.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Can't a auto fisher be suspended at the water line so it doesn't pull the fish out? I refuse to use the moniker yo-yo for the auto fishing gear but choose to save the name yo-yo for those people who do not run their auto fishing equipment properly.

I am not sure how this will be handled yet. I will be discussing this with my boss's boss (Assistant Chief of Fisheries Managment) sometime early in 2015. I will let y'all know what I find out.

Great question JP...here is two answers One get rid of this being allowed to leave your YoYo's unattended crap. Or B ban them all together I personally like the second option better. I'll bet the agfc wish'es you had asked this question earlier about a year ago. LOL

You can also put a larger split shot or one of the sinkers with rubber in the middle to on the drop line. So that when it trips it acts as a stop not allowing the fish to come out of the water.
