I pour a bunch of my own plastics (for bass fishing) Do NOT use vegetable oil, it will penetrate your plastics and make them hard over time. Anise oil works or you can order "worm oil" from barlows, bass tackle.com or others it is made specifically for storing plastics baits. A small bottle will last a LONG time. You can get it scented or unscented. A couple drops in a bait bag is all it takes. This works for me.
