    Fished Lake Erling this afternoon from noon to 4:30 and caught 18, pictured are the best 5, biggest was 15 1/2 inches and 2.1 lbs.

    I think I'll head on up to Lake Erling. My father-in-law will want to get in on this. He's a life long Lake Erling fisherman. Thanks for posting.

    Good job. Are they deep yet? I hoped to try it in a week or so. It's a great crappie lake, it just takes a little learning. Thanks for the post.

    Nice fish! I hear a lot about Lake Erling on the radio station out of Magnolia every Wednesday. Gonna have to try it out sometime.
