Well I went this evening and caught 7 only five where big enough to keep. Spent a lot of time looking for them. Not as many as there used to be years ago.

Hey, there's about 3 hours in the day when you actually can stand to be out. Heard a report ("G") that there were ticks on the bluegill! heck, i had to check that out. I checked these out pretty well, but didn't find any ticks

Melt some butter and cover the bottom of foil with it. then sprinkle that with garlic salt, MS Dash Original, a splash of black pepper, and sesame seeds. Lay fish down on that, then coat the fish with melted butter, and repeat the garlic salt, dash, pepper and seeds on them. use lowest heat setting on the grill. takes 5 or 6 minutes, then gently turn them over, and add a few more sesame seeds, just for decoration. punch a couple small holes in the foil so that the butter drains, but be careful of a flame up. soon as they dry up some, their done.
BUT... the real secret is the GRAVY! fish gravy !
melt some butter, and a little olive oil in a small bowl. add some garlic salt, and a little splash of lemon juice to that. taste it and add garlic salt or lemon to your taste, or until it taste like that butter dip at Red Lobster! Thats the gravy!
Drizzle that over those grilled fillets, man your tongue will beat your brains out trying to get another bite!
If your using a real charcoal grill, throw some green hickory nuts on the coals. smoke them real slow.
    dang, i'm hungry again

Looks like A buddy and me might get out Monday. It will either be Nimrod or Conway......which would you choose and why? Looks like there will be some clouds but still blazzing hot. Any suggestions or ideas so we can limit early at either lake would be appreciated. I haven't been able to go f or a while and really need some thump therapy.

Too hot to fish unless you're just a really tough hombre.
