    Default Some Rainy Day Thumpin!!!

I tried to talk Greg into going fishing with me this afternoon, but he needed to do yard work,( and so did I,) but I realized what a terrible idea that was, and I decided to go anyway! I put on my rain gear and hit the lake just in time for a huge storm to roll through! It got pretty scary for a minute but it seemed like the harder it rained, and the closer the Lightning got, the better the fish bit. No way I was about to leave!! It was catch and release only today, but caught around 24, lost count. Awesome afternoon enjoying God's creation. The fish was just a bonus.

    Greg, you missed out son!!

very nice catch! Seem like the worst the weather, the better they bite.

Nice catch, too many heavy bouts of rain and I stayed off the water. Looks like if you are willing to brave the rain once again it paid off!

Nice fish..... I like it with a soft rain, but when donner and blitzen show, it's "adious amigo" for me. Not even a 3 lb slab is worth meeting the Big Fisherman too soon.
