Well the wind blew 25-30 Saturday. You know what that means, Day Off. I went to one of NEA little gem on the MS river, Wapanocca. It is not known for it big crappie as much as its waterfowl. It is located 20-30 miles north of Memphis off I-55 and was opened in 1961. In 1886 it was established as the Wapanocca Outing Club and was the oldest and most prestigious hunting club in Arkansas. Its is closed during the winter months and reopens around the end of March. There are over 200 wood duck boxes and 200 acre of agri fields for the waterfowl during migration. This is the place to come for bird watchers. From the bald eagle to the Rusty Blackbird I have logged over 60 species in the past 20 years.
