    Some of them crappies looked like redears to me!! DP

    Yes sir they are. We catch a lot of readear and bluegill in our nets.

    Check out the table on this thread. Looks like it was sampled in 1990 and 1991. This lake is not in my district.

    Better watch those redear. They are likely to wrap you up in the nets and steal your boat to boot. Those are some feisty fish!

    We can't trap net Greers efficently due to the bathtmetry of the lake. I would like to get a good look at the crappie population but unfortunately there is not a good method on these types of lakes (very large corps reserviors). We do not plan on electrofishing Greers this year. But I do have a good idea of how you could help us collect some crappie data. I will give you a holler and see what you think Wayne. Thanks.

    To tell the difference between a striper and a white bass, you look at the tooth patch on the back of the tongue. A striper has two patches (side by side) and a white bass has one patch. You can see and feel them.
