I must admit to being a dummy too. I've balked at making the drive to Sardis because I wouldn't have any idea where to start...

east end of the lake has stumps for the single pole folk, the whole danm lake is good for the spider feller's. when / if you go you should see several other boats, do like they do! now remember 1 thing............... this lake will get plum nasty, I mean by gosh rough !! east wind will sink you if your in a smaller boat !! also check the top of the miss. page for the reg's and follow em....... they got plenty of green jeaned fellers on the payroll and carry large amounts of ticket writeing materials... not to say they are over zealous at all , but they do a better job of not only enforcing, but also providing resources !! #bonolake, bwahahahaha !!

dblevins, go east young man. Get up in the timber on east end of lake. Plenty of stuff to fish.

Tony come on over. Not really a hard lake to fish even Joekiller can catch fish on it.

Both of you and anyone else never fished it before, pay attention to what Joekiller said. That lake can hurt you in a hurry when the wind gets up. East wind is worst. Engineers point is best place to launch when wind is up.

I've heard Despain can catch a big one over there as well. If he got one of those new fangled satellite trolling motors, no fish will be safe. Don't know if he gives free tips.
