Googled and couldn't find a 188c. The RT188 is a fine looking ride. Ooooops there it is. RT188c. Still looking good.

Hey guys I'm trying to help my dad pick out a new boat. He wants a aluminum 18 ft ish. We are really close on going with a Ranger 188c. I know Ill probably get all kinds of other recommendations and that's great, but wanted to know if anyone has a Ranger tin and has any feedback on them. They sure seem pretty sweet thus far.

I haven't heard anything good or bad about the ranger tin boats but that 118c is sure sharp. I'd suggest trying as many as you can.
Never been in the Ranger, but if it is near as good a boat as my Triton, it's a good one. I've got the 18 x 60 aluminum Triton and I would not take double what I paid for it.
Thanks for the input. They look like great boats and we love all the storage options. I have just never seen one on the water and do not know of anyone else that has one, which is a little concerning to us. It probably is more related to it being a newer model to the line, hopefully. I have heard that they are pretty much the same hull and made in the same place as the Tritons so thanks for the feedback arkcrappie. If we go the Ranger route I'll be sure to let everyone know how it turns out. My Dad is a tried and true Ranger guy from our Bass days so they definitely have a one up with him from that, but we will be looking at other models as well. I don't think he can go wrong with a Ranger, Lowe, or Express personally.
The sure look nice!

You don't see 'em cause we're all poor folks. (Said the guy with a Lowe 195 Stinger!!!)
That, and only 2 places in Arkansas sell 'em, and they're remote............best I remember.
Ranger
Triton
Lowe
IMHO, whichever of those boats is laid out like you want, with the motor that you want............get it.
My only recommendation, after owning two of these larger aluminum bass type 'crappie' boats, is.............get the biggest motor that the back plate says you can have.............

If I was buying new, one of these is what I would buy and I own a WarEagle.

I own a Tracker pro team 190, and it's a great boat, also they will build the floor layout to your specs., my cousin has the 18.6ft Seaark and it is also a great boat, both have we both have 90 hp on ours and both run about 37 mph, cant speak for the ranger, but will say that my Tracker is the best rideing tin boat i have ever been in.
