If it will hold cornmeal it's big enough for me !!!!!!!!!
It will get pretty bumpy at 10 mph if the wind is out of the East or Southeast. The lake lays pretty much East and West.
Depending on direction much over 10 mph can pucker me up in a 17 ft express at times. Anything approaching 20 and I stay home, Back in bass tourney days it was common to see swamped glass boats. It can come up in a hurry and change direction in a heartbeat. If it is that windy Enid might be a better choice.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang and
a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.
Pass up teckville drive on down to Wyatt's crossing put in there. Doesn't matter if the lake is there or if the river is there you can launch either way. Don't put in at engineers and boat ride to the east end it's about 15 miles. Too much water to travel with a west wind. 10-15 mph has 4' rollers at 10-12' apart. Stumps and trees everywhere you can have a bad day quick. So don't put in far from a ramp fish on east end launch on east end. Teckville is about 5 miles from Wyatt's.
pm ez poleholder and order a spyder lock trolling rack just to b prepared. If it gets to windy you can put in at engineers and troll bac in there or along the dam in about any wind ( damm would be hard with a east wind) your jig poles will work if they are 10 feet long at least and not rear seats. A few c&C is all you need. We went last year and I dont know what the wind speed was but it was nasty out there. Tecville I saw one boat go on the trailer completely sideways, pickups were backed in over their back wheels,so yes it can ger nasty and I was wanting to launch but wife said no way.
thanks for the heads up good info
In humble reverance to the GREAT I AM! THAT I AM!
Tekville is a hot spot!
