All jokes aside, I think that large sized Crappie can be caught just about anywhere on Washington right now. But just know that the biggest monster slabs did not get to be 3+ lbs by being stupid and putting anything that swims by them in their mouth. It will take discovering what most appropriate and effective technique works best for the time/conditions, then the near flawless execution of that technique by a well oiled team to get those big mommas safely tucked away in the livewell.
