Most of the techniques mentioned (spider rigging for instance) have many variations that may be constantly changing depending on the circumstances. You may be out fishing with the family to have fun and want to catch a lot of fish or you may be in a situation where dealing with smaller fish is a distraction and you only want the big ones.

I vote for Spider riging with light weights and slip floats sitting almost still over the fish you mark.

This tourney will be won by a well oiled spider rigging team. I know If I was there thats what I would be doing. I would have 16 baits rolling brother. Good Luck.

It will either be spider rigging with a 4 inch minner on 4lb test line with a BnM 16' bgjp or power trolling some road runner type jigs on some 18' Ozarks or BnM 20' pst's with a silver sparkle crappie nibble and pink head tipped with a chartruese jig. Of course there is one hole down on the west side in front of some nice houses with some brush in deeper water that may hold a good one to catch jigging. If the fish are shallow, longlining with a planer board type setup may just be the ticket. I'm saying the winner may use one of the above methods. I personally would use none of the above methods and will refrain from revealing my method due to it causing CRANKiness that would not be easy to deFUSE if you know what I mean

RCC I know you would be using the Kitchen Sink method...If that did.nt work you would be buying a tube of crickets.

You know this is the truth. There may be photographic evidence suitable for blackmailing said subject.

Only thing I would love more than catching a 3lb Washington bream is catching a 3/4lb Washington crappie.

Russ, I repeat Jerry's query. Are you not heading south?

Over 90 boats guys in this tournament. A lot of big time guys in high dollar boats for sure. I know if 5-6 Arkansas teams in this I have met. Weigh in will be at 430 at the Greenville inn and suites. I am predicting 18-19 lbs to win this. Just a guess but a lot of big fish being caught and a lot of telephone fishing going on.
