    I tried the 9 inch blade but had trouble with it. I think the 9 inch thinner blade may work better for me. I love my old rapala knifes though. I have small hands and the big blade would make them cramp after cleaning several fish.

    RCC, I leave the skin on quite a few of mine. It helps them hold together better when they are on the grill in my opinion and besides that, I like the skin.
    Saw my first one yesterday at Academy Sports , too pricey when I have several different ones that work good.

    They make a 9" stiff and 9" flex. I have the flex. So far have cleaned around 70, still having trouble getting the filet off the skin but I think it is just me and not the knife

    My neighbor has one of these that I tried out a few times. They are too stiff for my preference on crappie. They probably work great on larger fish though.
