    I also like it at about 212-213. Above that it gets real difficult. At 212-213 you'll have some current, go out the ditch at tulot and head north. Hit the cypress knees on the south side of the tree's where the current is blocked. If you don't catch them on one side of the river go to the other side and just keep working north dipping your jig around the cypress trees . On nice afternoons during duck season I have good luck just relaxing and slowly working around the cypress trees, plus I can watch for ducks and know where I want to set up the next morning.     Lets just hope it doesn't start backing up around he south end of the levee's again and back up all the way to payneway (Harrisburg Corner, for you old farts) like it did a couple years back. River got so high that it backed up into Burnt Cane and the fishing ain't been right there since.

    Burnt cane was the best I've been on. Now it sucks.
    Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

    Yea, but think I am going to have to give it a shot this year to see if I can figure out the new pattern down there.
