I created a tying monster
Well as most of yall know my girl loves to fish. She asked me if we could tie some crappie jigs. I said sure and went into the attic to pull out my fly tying stuff. Using the minner critter as a proven slab catcher, i showed her a few ties. She is a lefty and myself a righty so i had a hard time teaching her the whip finish. I left her at the table and she did a little you tube and a little while later she comes in and says "dad how do these look?". Well i am astounded at how quick she picked it up lol. Luckily i have a bunch of stuff cause i can see she is gonna cost me some more money, but it will be well worth it.
Just passing it in is what its about.

Hey bow, tell her those look great!!! Got a question for you...well for her I guess. I have two boys that really like tying also. I proposistioned the guys in the jig tying forum about a kids swap and didn't get anything. Got a little bit on having a fall swap. I haven't been in one since 08. But I remember it being ALOT of fun and getting some really nice flys through the swap. Would ya'll be interested in doing one if we can get the people? Bet she would enjoy that too. Cat lady says thanks yall. Nimrod it is autumn that is tying. She takes after me and picks things up very quickly to things. I showed her twice is all lol. Had problems with the whip finish as she is left handed and i am right. A little you tube and she had it down from another lefty.
No competition nimble for jerry lol. This is private stock for us and just having fun.
