Thread: I created a tying monster

AHHH SNAP!!! Wish I coulda picked it up after only a few minutes. I still have trouble making my jigs look pretty, but those sure enough are the best looking jigs I have seen in a while.

BTW, On jigs, as long as you are glueing down the threads, you can just add 2-3 half-hitches, trim the tag end a little long, glue it. and after the glue dries, come back and trim the end off. Almost as good as a whip. The hair on mine usually comes out before it comes untied.

Thx for tip matt. I have tied flies for as long as i can remember for trout. Kinda nice getting back into it especially with her.

Not sure bob, she got crank baiting, spidering, cat fishing down. Gonna work in single pole and long lining with her next i think. Who knows she may be the next pro crappie fisher woman.

Hey asked bow and he said they would probably do a swap. I'm having trouble getting a swap together in the swap forum. I and my two boys would like to do one. They are young and beginners also. If you can get with your granddaughter sometime maybe we could all do one.
