Thread: More victims of the Roadrunner!!

Took a vacation day today to get some fishing in before the front. Had a good day on the lake, it started slow with the blue and chartruese tube I have been catching them on. So since it was cloudy I changed to a silver metal flake tube with a pearl tail on the chartruese Roadrunner. That was what they wanted. I injected some pink nibbles with the bait pump (thanks Randy for this great invention), the pink bleeding through made this neutral looking tube look like a rosie red minnow on a chartruese Roadrunner. The crappie loved it. I was about the only one catching crappie to amount to anything, and everyone was asking what I was catching them on. I really like fishing with Roadrunners. These black crappie really put up a fight. Caught a limit of 15, they weighed 17 lbs. 2 oz.
