I use two B & M 12' forward reel seats for single poling and two poling, and then three Ozarks, 9', 10' and 11' rear reel seats for tight jiggin' in the trees. I think there's a place for both, and I like both. Prefer the Ozarks because of the titanium tip which comes in handy, plus they are light, sensitive and have the backbone you need. All trolling rods are 14' Ozarks.
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!

I love the eyes on the Ozark and backbone of BnM. The only rods I use to jig. Ozark 11' front seat. BnM 11'' and 12' Brush Cutter front seat. I use a cheap plastic reel on both. I don't reel when i fish.

You can get by with it fishing thin water. Come up here in January and fish 30 to 50' with us on Dardanelle.
