11 foot ozark. I got tired of knocking the ceramic ring out of the others.

I have two poles - one is a Hi Tek in an 11' and one that's some sort of hybrid. Can't figure out what the bottom piece is and the top piece is some sort of bass pro top end I found in the woods after a spring flood receded. I'd guess it's close to 11'. It's light as a feather and I've fished with it for 3 years with no problems. This site has just bout sold me on an Ozark though lol

My favorite was a bucks best ultra-lite with a rear seat and touch system. You could feel a gnat breathe on the jig. Since it broke about 18 inches above the handle while setting the hook on a 8" Poinsett slab...this fish...

it is now my least favorite. BnM or Ozark is the way to go. I have both and they are good.

I've used Grizzly Jig rods in 11 foot for years and I have no complaints with them.
I bought my wife 1 of the pink Ozark rods and she loved it. I now own 2 more Ozarks and I'll be ready to try them out in a couple of weeks.

I have both BnM and Ozark, and love both brands. Those Ozark's are tough, and sensitive too.

I happened across a 10' rear seat Berkley Cherrywood two years ago. That has by far been the best jig pole I have ever laid my hands on. Super light, sensitive, and backbone out of this world. Only problem is, they only make the 10 footer. So I bought into the hype of the Ozarks and got a 11' rear seat and a 12' forward. At first I wasn't very impressed because I was so stuck on the Cherrywood, the feel was totally different. The first few months the Ozarks hardly ever came out. Then I tied up with a 5lb Green Carp on the Ozark and it handled it like a champ. A couple weeks later, a 5lb channel cat. Not monsters, but enough to show me that they have what it takes to take on the occasional thumper. Now I find myself going to the Ozark more than the Cherrywood. That extra foot makes all the difference in the tight cover. I just hope Berkley broadens their selection in the near future.
