I buy lots of Teflon and my guess is these aren't Teflon but UHMW (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene). So ask for plastic boat skids. Teflon would cost over $1000. You need to heed all the warnings of others because UHMW has a lower coefficient of friction than Teflon when wet

Just FYI I got mine from Cabelas. BPS and West Marine sells them also. They are called Trailer Slicks.

This is the product description on mine. Teflon infused.

E-Z Slide™ Trailer Pads make loading and unloading your boat a breeze. Molded from a slippery, TeflonŽ-infused composite to reduce friction as the boat slides on and off the trailer. Easily installs directly over carpeted bunks with stainless steel hardware included. Ideal for metal boats up to 4,000 lbs. and fiberglass boats up to 1,500 lbs. Not recommended for painted bottoms. Five-year warranty

You guys who are wanting something like that might want to check Home Depot. At one time I found some 2 by 4's made of polystyrene that looked like they would be the ticket for replacing runners if you wanted the slick surface.
