    Default Replacing runners

Buddy of mine is doing some repairs to his trailer , new paint and replacing rotted runners, he found these Teflon runners to use instead of carpet, says their strong and will last longer than carpet, I liked em , thought I would share , bought em from lowes, look good to! Looks good. Be careful the first time that you unload and load as they may be slick enough to allow the boat to slide off the trailer as you are backing down or pulling up. Looks like they should last a long time!

don't unhook your boat until your trailer wheels touch the water....boat will slide right off the trailer with those
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I betcha those would prevent your boat from freezing to the trailer in the winter. Looks good.

Definitely seen a boat in the parking lot one day lol. Guy unhooked it and viola he was fishing on pavement. I seen some just put them towards the end of the trailer without the slippage issue. Just not for me.
