    Default Lake maps question

I just recently bought and installed a Humminbird 998c SI Combo unit. The only maps I have are the basic ones that came already installed on the unit. I am of the opinion I need to add something like the Navionics chip which gives more detail and more information. I would appreciate you guys sharing your opinions as to which is the best one to buy for use in central Arkansas. Are lakes like Nimrod, Harris Brake, Overcup and Brewer on there? Navionics vs. LakeMaster? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Nimrod yes for sure, brewer no. Check out the Navionics Webapp to see what they have.

Good question Jerry. I am looking forward to some input myself. It seems like every chip company breaks the region down the MS river line. I would use the chip in MS big 4 most of the time. It looks like I will have to get 2 chips. That being said, what is the best for MS big 4 and Central AR (Greers)

Guys I have both Navionics and Lake Maps. If you want to compare them on a lake you fish come by and we will look at it on both maps and you can see before you buy. As far as Greers the Lake Maps is best. The Big Four in MS are not on the Lake Maps card for that area which make no sense.

Most the lakes you named will not be on none of the lake map chips. Only the larger coe lakes are one them.
