Another "Well, it's not crappie, but..." Thread

Matthew, this was the warm up trip last Friday. The real trip is this Thursday. I really learned from him, and enjoyed it, and would like to try crawler rigs for saugeye on Maumelle. I'll let you know if I can figure them out.

Not after any secrets, especially Jerry's (take your GPS). Just kidding, he might cut your ears off and throw you overboard if you do. Never thought about trying saugeye. Might have to go give it a try this summer out there.

Give me a call next week, water might be up enough to get into my bream hole by the house. Might be ablet to gt you on some bulls gills.

Shocking!!!!! Can I go fishin with you and them lighting rods? I knew I shoulda been a fish biologist. Might not be a "LOSER" if I had y'all's gear. Lol

Got to get out on Greer's Today to try to catch some walleye. Fish were caught in the main lake trolling bottom bouncing rigs with crawlers. I took home three and my partner/teacher brought home four. Considering I had caught three in my life before today and was able to double my lifetime catch, it was a great day!

What area of the lake did you guys fish?

The wet part! We were out of Heber Springs Rec Area. They are not my spots to share, so I won't say more, however the fellow I was fishing said its a whole lot more about nailing down depth and bait, colors, etc. than it is a particular section of the lake.

PM me those secret spots. I promise I won't tell anybody but my walleye fishin buddy. If ya do, I will share the GOOD spots with ya on Bull Shoals.

My buddy just got back from Bull Shoals and he, his son and his local buddy from Mt. Home filled the freezer with 3-5lb (22-25") fish on his week long stay. You can only keep 4 at Bull Shoals, and they must be over 18" to keep. They don't have the slot like at Greers.
