    There is no pvc, its All steel except the top and that is some stuff I already had. I don't know what its called. Its stuff they use to make cutting boards and it is super tough.

    I was talking to Russ last night when the UPS guy came. Wife was asleep in the recliner. What luck, I had to look it all over so just as I got it all spread out in the shop the door opens and its wifey. Actually, she could care less what I buy she didnt even notice it. Its just more exciting when you sneak around. I got this 998 mainly to fish the river below the dam cuz there are some huge schools of crappie there but they are tough to find when there is no flow. Another reason is to get one up on xring. I smell a 1198 in his future.

    Good job on the mount, Ray. Good to see you get a 998. I'm sure you will love it!
