    Default Alright boys

I have all my first hay rolled up and in the barn, and the whole family(5 camper's full) are heading to Greeson on Monday for 5 days. I'm the only one who will fish every day, can spiderrig, single pole, jig under bobber, any suggestions? Is it a dry county, cause if fishing is bad I may need pop to soothe my nerves

Good luck hopefully someone can give you some good info. Please post some photos and results after your trip. PS , I would carry some liquid refreshments unless someone can reply. I live in a dry county and know how it can be.

Look at the website Crappie Fishing Guide Jerry Blake And Friends - Lake Greeson Arkansas Fishing Guide Service

Jerry Blake is the resident Crappie Whisper-er down there, and he can flat catch them, and puts up pretty detailed reports on his website.

good luck and have fun...just wondering how you got your hay up...we haven't even started and it doesn't look like we will get started for another week.

I just came from camping at Greeson but I was only able to fish one morning for 3 hours and had one bass to show for it. The key to Greeson is to fish brushpiles. Agrihawg has a lot of coordinates that will get you started. I'm sure you could also shoot docks but I didn't get a chance to try. Good luck!

Drifter chicken litter and triple 17 spread over drilled rye or wheat will do wonders before the Bermuda comes on

You can buy a lake map when you get there. The map has lots of coordinates for brush piles then just figure out which ones are holding fish.

AGFC.COM has lots of the coordinates also for Greeson. Call Jerry, and he will lead you in the right direction. Tell you that you heard about him on Crappie.com
