Hush puppies. If you will talk to Gene and Linda White. They may be able to help you with the hush puppies I don't know what they go by on this, but check some of their friends

So sorry, we just got back from a trip to the lake. Here is the recipe for the famous hush puppies my wife stirs them up and I fry them

Gene White’s Best Hushpuppies

Martha White hushpuppy mix from Walmart ( found with HP mixes not in the muffin mix area)
Add: a lot of chopped onions, a little diced jalapeno, a little sugar, salt, pepper garlic salt and enough beer to moisten and mix well. It should be thicker than cornbread but not too dry. Let rise while you cook fish and fries. Stir down and scoop into 350 degree.

3 packages will feed 8 to 10 people

Thats pretty much the same recipe i use except i add spoonful of diced garlic out of the jar and pioneer nrand mix
