Perhaps we should invest in matching shirts. I’m thinking maybe we should have the image of a duck emblazoned across a scarlet “L” encircled by barge rope with no fish in sight anywhere on the jersey! They need to be a bright color but definitely not pink, we want folks to be able to tell us apart from the lady that's catching all the fish.

"The boats across the lake will soon surround the Professional LOSER where he will then reach down into his boat and drag out his ego reach net. He will then pass it by each boat and the occupants will reach into their pockets and drop money, or items of value into the net, including food items since the net has never had fish slime on it. After the net is filled the Professional LOSER will load up his LeekOcraft and depart from the area "

Are you Baptist? Only a Baptist would have thought of passing the net!!

RCC was probably more interested in the food than the money...

I like this idea. Or maybe one of those no smoking signs, except with a fish in the middle. And monthly meetings should only be held at night, under the cover of darkness, so as not to resemble any organized group or other professional entity. No monthly dues are necessary, due to the fact that a cash payout would only be necessary if someone let an undercover pro into our tournament and they actually caught a fish. This CANNOT happen guys!! The only requirement will be at least one story per month of a past excursion that yielded good fish, but pictures or any other evidence of this actually happening will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal from the group.

Yep we could have a club crown for the guy with the biggest ghost crappie story! We can reminisce on how we used to know how to catch those 3 pound ghosts or how they used to be in our home lake.

Face it gentlemen, the older we get, the more adept we are at those "used to" stories. Oh, the exploits we used to be able to do....

My father-n-law would win this, hands down. He caught a world record Crappie on Pickthorne a few years ago on a spinnerbait. The thing was easily 30, 32 inches. Must've been 10lbs or better. Of course, this was a common occurrence for him back in those days,
so he never even thought to take a picture or have it weighed. What a shame!!

Hmmmmm... Your father-in-law may have been related to mine. We didn't marry into the same family did we?
