Well It's about an hour maybe just over drive for me to get there from the Dequeen area and it's a big beautiful lake, shame they don't brush it any better. I've always said these tournament groups that fish all the time need to have a set up where 2 days per year brushing is manditory and for those that wanna do more a couple more times in the slow Winter Months. Next a portion of the proceeds of each tournament need to go back into stocking. Best way I know to do that would be have somebody's big stock pond to keep stocked up and raid once per year....cheaper than buying the fish and Im sure the G&F could do it way cheaper if they would. They do some stocking though so that's good. I still think if they'd quit all the trout $ and use some of that for better tasting fish we'd all be better off.
Fella's when you have as many bad outings as I do you won't mind putting a little back into the lakes but that's just me. I should have just took the chainsaw out on Dequeen lake this Winter cause after that ice we had a lot of cedars were tore down just ready for the cutting and dumping out in the lake. I made 15 or 20 piles but wish I'd made some of them bigger and made a few more.
