Good catch Chris! Glad your keeping some again, do you remember how to clean em?
I like a crappie sammich. You may want to freeze mine. It'll probably be a few days before I make it down. On the positive side of things, I got the cooker cleaned out and ready to go again. Now if I could just catch a fish. Maybe I'll catch one during the fall bite. I know the spring bite is over and fish don't eat during the summer months![]()

Chris we all just jealous. But thanks for the info. Do you catch them in the river on up into the summer also?
Honestly Mike, that was my first time on the river in a boat since I was a kid!! I have fished it from the bank off and on quite a bit lately, so I knew they were there. I do know that they tend to spawn later in the year there due to cooler water temps, (60* yesterday) so the pattern should hold through May or June.
