I like a crappie sammich. You may want to freeze mine. It'll probably be a few days before I make it down. On the positive side of things, I got the cooker cleaned out and ready to go again. Now if I could just catch a fish. Maybe I'll catch one during the fall bite. I know the spring bite is over and fish don't eat during the summer months:biggrin

Honestly Mike, that was my first time on the river in a boat since I was a kid!! I have fished it from the bank off and on quite a bit lately, so I knew they were there. I do know that they tend to spawn later in the year there due to cooler water temps, (60* yesterday) so the pattern should hold through May or June.Quote:
