Sometimes its good to hear that you guys are human too.
But I would a whole lot rather have heard that you caught a boat load!

You'll be glad to know We bombed out today. It was windy and cold . Thought I'd try my stakebeds in Nimrod as everyone seems to think spawn about over here. Cliff and I managed 7 and lost 2 keepers along with a Catfish today. Was shocked to find very few little ones even moved out on deeper structure yet? The ones we caught appeared spawned out and poor as a snake. Hope it gets better soon or I may go broke driving to Dardanelle.

Man I hate to hear a groan man cry!!!!!!![]()
If it will hold cornmeal it's big enough for me !!!!!!!!!
It did take us the better part of the day yesterday to find em and if the finder was any indication of how many were still there they didn't bite very well what was there. 10-12 FOW though seems to be spot on right now. After this cold snap we are about to get they may move back up on the banks to spawn again???? Just kidding there but this has been a weird year and the ones we caught yesterday sure tasted good tonight.
We been wear'n them out most everyday on Dardanelle. Caught several limits last week off banks at Nimrod but deeper water bite or lack of has us puzzled . But if it don't change it may get tougher with this major cold front and wind.

I'm wondering if that last full moon we had all night might have shut the day time bite down?? I heard an old crappie fisherman say once that on those full moon nights a crappie having eyes on top of it's head can skylight pods of bait fish all night long much better and they will feed on full moon nights all night long at times??? I know bass fishing I like to throw willow leaf bladed black spinnerbaits on moon lit nights a lot.
