    Horseshoe Lake Arkansas.....I got up this morning and went over to Horseshoe Lake, it looks like the water is 7 foot below normal. I guess one can launch a boat over at Pete's old place with a four wheel drive.

    We need some rain here in Shreveport. Been only 3/8th inch in two months. We need about 3 inches a week for a while to rehydrate the soil. Maybe tonight we'll get a good start. Y'know, sometimes the weather folks need to look out their window once in a while! They've been forcasting rain every day and haven't seen more than a 5 minute VERY light sprinkle twice. Que lastima!!

    I drove through some heavy rain from east of memphis to home, Had to wait a bit to get out. 35 top speed on interstate. rained most of the night. maybe soaked in enough to unload truck now.
