thanks for the input guys, everyone ive talked to in person hasnt fished for crappie there in several years. I live in conway and am making this trip with a buddy who has caught some nice bass there and wants to "show me" all the hype. It wont take me long to convince him to put the bait casters away and get the spinning reels and jigs out. hopefully ill have some pics to post
