Why is one required for fishing 18" deep ?
Here's the deal, when fish are up shallow and you don't need to disturb them with the tm, try a slip cork pitched from 30-40 feet away for their spawning ground. It takes some practice, but with a ozark 9 foot rod and a good setup, this combo is deadly. A slip cork rig fixed with a Midsouth tube will do just fine in these conditions.

Conway, were y'all fishing at Conway? Caught a few good stringers up in gold creek this time of year. That's a good looking cooler full. All I can say is that I'm glad you put the small ones on the top! I'd really be jealous if I'd seen the big 'uns!!!!!!!!

I think Conway just got lucky again. Ain't no way any normal person can catch that many fish.

We were fishing in a private oxbow off of the Ar. River. Joe we were fishing in less than 3 foot of water all day. In my 18.5 foot boat if you pull up and vertical jig you can catch them but if you stay back and pitch up to the brush you can catch several off of a bed before you muddy it up with a trolling motor.
